This is definitely not scientific. But this is my favorite recovery drink and I’ve found it works for me. Chocolate milk with chocolate flavored protein mix added to 1/2 coffee cup of milkshake-style vanilla ice cream. There’s probably too much fat and nutritionists would probably shame me for the sugar content. But I love it. Around about the 3 hour mark of a long weekend ride, it’s all I can think about.
